I bet whatever you’ve done this week, it’s been busy and now it’s the weekend you’re tired, but you’ve still got 101 things to do!!
However, I want you to start treating your weekend as a tiny holiday and leave your regular routines behind. Before I embarked on my Life Coaching and mindfulness journey I worked in the corporate world and worked a 40 hour + week, managed the clubs after school, worried about meals being on the table on time, and I was constantly plate spinning. I had a routine on a weekend where I would get up early on a Saturday and start the cleaning and first load of washing, get the grocery shopping done and try and fit in a family trip out at some point, but it was like groundhog day every week and I wasn’t enjoying it, or having quality time with my family and before I knew it Monday was there again!
Through my Life Coaching skills and Mindfulness I have learned to love weekends and let go of work, let my mind relax and generally slow down. This way I have more time for my family, I am happier and the prospect of Monday doesn’t seem so bad.

UnplugTurn off your technology, or unplug from your computer for at least 24 hours. Be available for more personal connection. With less distractions, you will invite relaxation.
