Focus on Today

When you’re anxious, you can get lost in “What-if” thoughts, you may always jump to the worse case scenarios.

I used to dwell a lot on the past and worry about so many things that might happen and my mind would often run away with itself.

As soon as I learnt to let go and focus on the present, be grateful for the things I do have, be kind to myself and write out positive affirmations every day, these anxious thoughts disappeared.

There will be times when anxiety creeps back in, but the trick is to bring yourself back to the present and focus only on that, because no-body knows what’s around the corner. Take one day at a time.
