Under Pressure – Queen & David Bowie

What is Under Pressure about?

This song is a powerful example of how pressure can take over in all aspects of life. So if you’re under pressure from anything, have a listen!!

Whether you interpret the lyrics as Freddie Mercury just discovering that he had aids and was going to die, hence the part of the track “these are the days it never rains but it pours” and ” this is our last dance”. He may also be suggesting that life is too short and helping others to do good things is the way forward. Is he under pressure?

However you interpret the lyrics and there could be many meanings, whatever pressure you are under, whether it is at work, at home, you have trouble with finances, there is always help. You don’t need to be under pressure.

I know if things are bad at work, whether you have just been told you are being made redundant and you don’t know what to do next, because this is the only job you’ve done, or you’re being threatened with a performance improvement plan because you’re not reaching unmanageable targets and the pressure is mounting every day, which is just making the problem worse, so this affecting your health and possibly causing problems at home!

If this is you, I can help. Take a look at my site and arrange a free consultation. I GET YOU and if you want to change you will. Don’t let pressure get on top of you.

Above anything else, this is just a great tune
