What do you hear in these lyrics?

Whichever way you hear the lyrics in this track, it is an incredibly powerful song about a man’s battle with strength and coming to terms with loss. He is telling her that he’s broken, but with her love, she can put him back together and they can ride the journey together.

I found this track incredibly powerful to me after I suffered a breakdown in 2013. I wasn’t experiencing a failed relationship, but I felt broken, but with the support of loved ones I was able to become strong again and fix my ‘broken wings’. I would listen to this track whenever I needed motivation to feel strong and lift myself up. I also love a good 80s rock ballad.
