Most of us take tomato ketchup for granted granted and just squeeze it all over our food without a thought of what is actually in the ingredients, but would you be surprised to know that there are 22g of sugar per 100g, which is more than vanilla ice cream, which has 21g of sugar per 100g?

In a 20oz bottle, which is one of the small size bottles, it contains 33 servings. However, a serving is suggested as 1 tbs. How many of you honestly have 1 tbs, which is equivalent to one of those small sachets you get in fast food joints?
Typically people will have 3-4 tbs, or small sachets and there are 4g of in each serving.
This equates to 33 teaspoons of sugar in just one 20oz bottle.
Do you know how much sugar you should be consuming?
For adults – 30g per day
For children aged 4-6 – 19g per day
For children aged 7-10 – 24g per day
For children aged 11+ – 30g per day
Public Health England 2019 revealed that children exceed their sugar intake for an 18 year old by the time they are 10 years old, which equates to an additional 2,800 excess sugar cubes per year.
