100 Days of Mindfulness – Day 47

Change Your Habit Over the weekend, notice which chairs you sit on at home, in a bar, or cafe, on public transport, in your spin class, at work, or where you sit or stand in your fitness class. Do you always go for the same place? Make a deliberate choice to sit on another chair/seat, […]

How Do You Feel About The Week Ahead? So many people let their negative thoughts control their lives. This is because the primary function of the brain is survival NOT happiness and fulfilment. We can […]

Big Goals require Big support

Why are Goals important? Realising the importance of big goals became my passion when I recovered from corporate burnout in 2013. At that time in my life I wasn’t happy, I wasn’t looking after myself and I had no self-worth. I started off with setting small, specific and achievable goals and as I started to […]

Quite recently I attended a meeting at which Shona took the speaking slot. I was impressed by the way she engaged the audience immediately and was willing to show some vulnerability which achieved empathy from the audience. Shona talked about her career and the learnings that had brought her to this event.
She has a great message for the attendees in terms of how you can use your thoughts to bring about the best outcomes for yourself.
There were plenty of questions asked after Shona spoke which in my book is a great sign of an audience really thinking about the message.
I would not hesitate to recommend Shona’s speaking ability especially her engagement skills and besides all that she really is a very nice person.
